Dear ISVO Member,
Please see the announcement regarding the General Meeting to be held this month. As an individual member, you are eligible to vote in this meeting. If you are unable to attend, please could we strongly encourage you to assign a member to act as a proxy on your behalf. This will help us to reach the required quorum of members required by our bylaws.
The International Society of Veterinary Ophthalmology (ISVO) serves as a bridge between many different local and national veterinary ophthalmology organizations thereby promoting the worldwide exchange of information relating to the eye and vision in both the domestic and native animal species. We invite you to take a look around our website and make full use of its resources.
MEMBERSHIPS
There are 2 classes of membership of the ISVO: Regular ISVO membership and Associate ISVO membership.

SCHOLARSHIPS
The ISVO runs a series of scholarships and bursaries that are open to veterinarians who are ISVO members. Preference is typically given to those not currently enrolled in an official ophthalmology training program.
There are 2 classes of membership of the ISVO:
If you have an interest in veterinary or comparative ophthalmology, we encourage you to join the ISVO. The ISVO accepts individual memberships as well as membership applications from other Ophthalmic Organizations. For full details please see our membership benefits page.
If you are interested in joining via your local ophthalmic organization, please write to the ISVO Secretary.
Veterinarians and veterinary medicine students, join our closed group on Facebook and Instagram.
REGULAR ISVO MEMBERSHIP
Open to any veterinarian upon application. Current membership dues are $25 renewable annually.
ASSOCIATE ISVO MEMBERSHIP
Open to two groups of people:
-
i. Any veterinarian who is already a member of certain professional associations who have formed a group membership with the ISVO
-
ii. Any non-veterinarian (upon application) who contributes to veterinary ophthalmology
